Coca-Cola will lower about 2,200 jobs in its international workforce as a part of a broader restructuring plan that was accelerated by the coronavirus pandemic.

In the USA, Coke will use layoffs and buyouts to remove about 1,200 jobs, accounting for about 12% of the workforce in its dwelling market. The information was first reported by The Wall Avenue Journal.

On the finish of 2019, the Atlanta-based firm had 86,200 international workers. However the pandemic battered its income and raised prices for the beverage big.
