Commander of the Navy, Vice Admiral Nishantha Ulugetenne on 06th January 2021 ceremonially declared open a pillared construction (Latha Mandapaya) and Lotus Pond (Nelumpokuna) constructed with the contribution of Sri Lanka Navy, on the College of Drugs, College of Peradeniya.
The development of this distinctive construction and pond obtained off the bottom on 02nd March 2020 with engineering experience and manpower enabled by Sri Lanka Navy in addition to funds made obtainable by the College of Drugs, College of Peradeniya. Following the directives of Commander of the Navy, the development work carried out expeditiously, as a way to full the challenge by 05th January 2021.
