Lakha Sidhana, who is needed in reference to the
violence in Delhi on
Republic Day, on Tuesday attended a public assembly in Punjab’s
Bathinda in help of the continuing farmers’ agitation towards the Centre’s agri legal guidelines. A video clip confirmed him seated on the dais.
The gangster-turned-activist had given a name for the general public assembly in Bathinda’s Mehraj village final week.
There was hypothesis whether or not Sidhana would participate within the public assembly as he’s wished by the Delhi Police for his alleged position within the violence that broke out throughout a tractor parade known as by farmer unions on January 26 demanding the repeal of the agri legal guidelines.
1000’s of protesters had clashed with the police through the violence. Lots of the protesters reached the Pink Fort and entered the monument, and a few of them even hoisted non secular flags on its domes and a flagstaff on the ramparts.
In a video that appeared on social media on Saturday, Sidhana had appealed to individuals to participate within the programme in massive numbers.
The previous gangster had a number of instances registered towards him in Punjab and was jailed many instances. He had unsuccessfully contested the 2012 state meeting polls.
