Chief of the Home of Parliament Minister Dinesh Gunawardena affirmed that as Sri Lankans, willingly or unwillingly we should obey the selections taken by the Supreme Courtroom as that’s the foundation of a democratic nation.
Chief of the Home of Parliament the International Minister acknowledged this on the Parliament right this moment (08) throughout a debate concerning the imprisonment of Ranjan Ramanayake and his membership within the Parliament being vacated in accordance with the Structure.
The Minister pinpointed that this isn’t a plight confronted solely by Ranjan Ramanayake as Ministers like late Lalith Athulathmudali and late Gamini Dissanayake misplaced their Membership in Parliament on account of Supreme Courtroom order.
